Rose Quartz Palmstone
Rose quartz has been associated with love rituals and ceremonies, and emotions for centuries, and remains so to this day. As part of the quartz family, this crystal is made up of silicon dioxide, with its pink coloration resulting from tiny inclusions of pink fibers made of manganese, titanium, or iron, in addition to irradiation. This irradiation is why rose quartz should be kept out of the sun, so as to not loose its coloration over time. Rose quartz most commonly exists naturally in massive form.
In the realm of crystal healing, the stone is believed to be associated with unconditional love and allowing love to enter ones life, forgiveness, and understanding, as well as its ability to elevate one’s consciousness. Rose quartz is associated with the element of water,as its healing properties are naturally fluid, purging toxic energies and emotions, and is associated with the heart chakra, bringing it into balance with the third eye and crown chakras.
