Description
Morrocan Azurite Specimens
Azurite is a soft, deep blue copper mineral produced by weathering of copper ore deposits over the millennia through reactions between copper, hydrogen, carbonate, and oxygen. It features deep contrasting shades of blue, which comes from its frequent juxtaposition with Malachite, a related mineral with very similar chemical properties.
It is believed in the realm of crystal healing that Azurite contributes to enhancing creativity and inner wisdom because it cleanses and activates the third eye chakra.
